Texan by birth. New Yorker by choice.

I am highly aligned with my upbringing. I’m a sixth generation Texan, mostly raised in Houston, went to the University of Texas at Austin, and have many relatives in Dallas. Before Houston, we moved all over east Texas and I have many relatives in many smaller towns across the state. I believe in the values of Texas, such as keeping Austin weird, frito pies, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, Tex Mex, saying y’all, Blue Bell ice cream, Lick Ice Creams, and kindness (as long as you don’t cross me).

After college, I moved to the center of the universe, New York City. I’ve lived in the same apartment I moved into fresh from college, in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. So surreal! I work in events, running my own staffing and event company, called Cambre Company. I’m a certified life coach, dabble in hosting, and I’m fabulous AF. I have a friendly orange tabby cat named Timberlake. Some of my interests include American Sign Language, travel, being a mystery shopper, and casual astronomy.
